In the 22nd century, mankind witnessed an emerging mutation. First, the ratio of women increased, due to lower mortality and higher birth rate. Secondly, some males started developing female characteristics, along with an amplification of their masculine traits. Such males while having breasts, soft features and long hair like those of women, were also stronger, with more muscular arms and legs, longer and girthier penises, and higher stamina and libido. They came to be called Futas. While mankind was slow to accept the emergence of this new mutation, Futas came to be respected due to their higher intellect, better leadership skills, and increased aggression and determination. Today, while Futas are just 10% of the population (Men being 30% and Women 60%), they hold important positions in both Government and Business, are richer and more influential, and consistently see their wealth and power grow in relation to others. The position of men and women, while somewhat different in relative terms, has not significantly changed. While men may not occupy the positions of power they once did, they continue to play a significant role in society. While some women have reverted to traditional, subservient roles, preferring to support their futa or male partners, some women continue to break glass ceilings and climb the corporate ladder.
