Perhaps some of you might like this view, but I see people as being at their best when they largely follow this guideline of/for interacting with one another:
1) We are human beings and we ought to be diplomatic & at least partially rational - i.e. we talk about our problems to avoid or resolve problems.
2) When #1 fails, we ought to devolve in a sense to be more 'Bonobo-like' and focus on shared pleasures or helping provide pleasures - i.e. we interact to increase contentment in one another to avoid or resolve problems.
3) When #s 1 & 2 fail, we ought to either at best ignore or at worst become physical & thus more 'Chimpanzee-like' by focussing on defending ourselves and the people and animals that have FOLLOWED #s 1/2 as best as possible - i.e. if you reach #3 with others you ought to ignore them. But if they persist, then instead you might need to become physical with the *hope* that you then can later slot themselves into #s 1 or 2 or just start ignoring one another.

I basically write erotica in order to supplement the diplomacy of #1 and further expand the buffer-zone at #2... But also because I am a naturally disgusting & horny gay individual.
