Your Asian Tutor

Your Asian Tutor

The Reeductation

Chapter 1 by dppxDiana dppxDiana

You walk down the well maintained dirt path leading to Mrs. Kim's house, feeling a mix of nervous excitement and anticipation swirling inside you. The crisp autumn air fills your lungs as you approach the elegant wooden door, its polished surface gleaming in the soft glow of the setting sun.

Your parents had hired a tutor to help you prepare for college, and after much deliberation, they settled on Mrs. Kim. She came highly recommended, known for her expertise in guiding students towards academic success. However, what surprised you was Mrs. Kim's insistence that lessons be held at her home.

As you stand before the door, you recall your parents' explanation: Mrs. Kim believed that the serene environment of her home would foster a better learning atmosphere, away from distractions. Reluctantly, you agreed.

You take a moment to admire the exterior of the house. It's a blend of traditional and modern architecture, with intricate wooden carvings adorning the eaves and a tiled roof that slopes gently downwards. A small garden lines the pathway, filled with vibrant flowers and neatly trimmed bushes, adding a splash of color to the surroundings.

Approaching the door, you notice subtle Asian influences in the design – a delicate paper lantern hanging by the entrance, intricate patterns etched into the wooden doorframe, and a miniature Zen garden nestled in a corner of the yard.

You raise your hand and knock on the solid wooden door, but there's no immediate response. You're left standing there, contemplating your options.
