Some people just play by different rules than the rest of us. Whether that's billionaire celebrities, politicians, athletes, they get away with stuff us mere mortals would never imagine. Actually, let's do some imagining.
I'd like some stories where someone is doing they'd normally get locked up for but, for whatever reason you determine, no one lifts a finger to stop them! This is an open thread for anyone who wants to contribute! I have just a few rules:
- The perpetrator never faces any consequences for anything they do. At all.
- Other characters need to acknowledge that what is happening is wrong in some way, but they won't/can't do anything to stop it.
- People in authority who should stop it are either making excuses as to why it's ok or are just apathetic about enforcing the law.
Your stories can be multi-part or short stories, but they should follow this general naming format:
[Name of Character - Why They Can Get Away With It]
