Total Control App

(Based on my chapter with the same premise in the wonderful BeckyS story "The Total Humiliation of James")

"You think you can control what happens to other people? You think that you can just make decisions like dumping witches? Not anymore. You're never going to be in control again."

They sighed sighed. Did she see how ridiculous she was being? People should be able to break up over any reason, and 'the girl is a kook who believes in magic' is a pretty good reason. She sounded like those incels who blamed girls for not wanting a 'nice guy' when really, girls just didn't want a man who thought they deserved sex.

They were about to reply when their phone started updating, and a new app appeared. They were worried that their phone had caught a virus, something called 'Total Control'. Weird. They clicked on the app, without really thinking about it. They read the welcome page, growing more concerned the further they got.

Welcome to a new way to fulfill all your humiliation and mind control fantasies. This app gives you, our user, complete control over a real person. Instructions are fairly simple. Use the "Camera" tab to keep an eye on [Name], with various filters and settings to control just how much of [Name] you get to experience. Use our "Quick Control" tab to access a set of commonly used and requested buttons, updated weekly, including an easy-to-use favorites list, all of which cause [Name] immediate embarrassment. Finally, there's our "Input Your Own" tab, labeled "IYO". Just use the text box, or our speech-to-text feature, to change or command [Name] in any way you can imagine.

By clicking continue, you agree to not use this app to cause harm to anyone with it, including a prohibition against causing lasting harm to [Name]. You also agree that you are of the age of majority in your jurisdiction. Multiple inputs will be resolved in the order received, with priority given to "Quick Control" options. Do not use app while driving or operating heavy machinery. App may not be appropriate for all users. App does not function if user is within the city limits of Potosi, Bolivia.
