The Wonderful World of Lustrous

David woke up confused in some weird cave confused.

“Huh….. where am I?”

“Ohh good you’re finally awake!”

He turned around to see an old man holding a weird looking book.

“Huh….. who the heck are you?!”

“Greetings I am Dagon, I regret to inform you that you suffered a fatal accident and died!”

“WAIT I DIED?!!”

“But the good news is I was able to bring you back to life by summoning your entire body here!”

“I died….. how?!”

“Huh….. don’t remember actually, but anyways I used up all the magic of the book in order to bring you to Lustrous!” He tired explaining only to find it falling on deaf ears.

“….. Magic,Lustrous, am I in some kind of Fantasy world?!” He asked feeling some sense of wonder and confusion.

“Indeed you are dear Boy, anyways like I said I summoned you and I need your help!”

“My help?!”

He shows him a weird green book of sorts with a demonic eye on it.

“This is a powerful artifact known as the Book of Greed, it’s extremely powerful able to achieve incredible feats of power in the magic world!”

“Okay…. What’s that got to do with-“

“Hush boy, I’m getting to that…… daft cunt!” He muttered the last part under his breath.

“What was that?” He asked confused.

“Huh…. Oh right, you see I’ve been out looking for an incredible place known as the Jeweled Kingdom, a place where only the richest of kings would live, but it’s remained hidden for so long that nobody can seem to find it!”

“And you want me to find it for you?”

“Precisely dear boy, The Book of Greed will be able to find it for you easily….. provided you pay it a handsome fee of jewels in order to use its power!”

“Really….. and what would I get out of helping you?!”

“Just think it about, the Jeweled Kingdom is a home made for the wealthiest ever, once you’re there, you’ll never have to work a day in your life, free service, free food, and home to some of the world most powerful magic artifacts ever!!”

“Really?!”

“Yes, so what do you say, would you help me reach it?”

“Of course…..” He said imaging the life of luxury that awaited him.

“Great, now then, I’ll give you these to start off with, be careful not to spend them all in one place!”

Dagon handed John 100 Jewels and a map of the Eastern Islands to start his journey with, as he sat down.

“I’m afraid I can’t join you, this ol body ain’t what it used to be, go ahead and take the East Islands in and enjoy them for what they’ve got to offer!”

John looked back at Dagon a little worried.

“Hang on, can’t I have some kind of weapon in case of any monsters?!”

“Huh….. Ohh right I almost forgot, it’s too dangerous to go alone, here take this!”

He pulls out some heart shaped collar of sorts and attached it around his neck.

John could see an accurate description on the collar just by staring at it.

(Collection Collar (Locked.): Able to store money in it along with any other items you find via a small pocket dimension through the heart.)

John looked at it confused as he put a finger through the collar and tired to pull out a weapon ending up with a tiny dagger.

“Welp better than nothing I guess!” Said John trying to remain optimistic about his current predicament.

“Remember to visit back when you’ve got enough money, currently the book is demanding 1,000 Jewels if you want its help.”

He nodded as he walked out of the cave until stopping.

“Ohhh…. And one more thing, try not to run out of jewels there’s only so far you can go without them!” He said ominously.

John sighed taking in the fresh air wondering what he would experience in this wondrous world.

Staring at the map, he decided to get started on a plan to earn jewels to help aid in his quest.

1.) Go to a nearby town to ask for some guidance.

2.) Go to a dungeon.

3.) Explore the vast forest around you.

4.) Encounters some dangerous monster.

5.) Something Else?
