The Script

The Script

Changing the story

Chapter 1 by Dogdog Dogdog

The script is a work of fiction. Any resemblance to actual events or persons, living or dead, is entirely coincidental. My lack of self-esteem, The Eiffel Tower, and my aunt Christine's breasts, however, are very real. I repeat, for the purpose of writing, the story and characters are 100% fictitious. Certain long-standing institutions, agencies, and public offices are mentioned, but the characters involved are completely imaginary.

I'm joking lol, but for real though, this story ain't my own. How could it? The last time I've had an interesting idea for anything was that time I... Shit, I can't remember the last time I've had an idea.

This story is my continuation from, https://chyoa.com/chapter/The-script-that-changed.271627

Its conception was brought up by Geo, and the actual thread I was continuing was made by Control Freak.

Anyway, here's a short description

*

The Script itself is entirely useless, just a pathetic batch of flimsy paper. What is special is the mysterious red pen that gives the paper life.

The pen itself has been created out of material from beyond the unknown. Is it the pen itself that has power? Or the mysterious red ink? I don't know, and I also don't care.

Using the pen to write a person's full name on a piece of paper will create the Script. Once the script has been created, writing in it with the same magical pen will cause reality to warp for whoever happens to have their name written down. The Script is basically the new story for the person it's assigned too; their entire lives will be changed into that of a character in a fictional novel. Any time the Script is changed or altered in some way, the person in question will go on with their life as if their every action is not part of some pre-written script.

For better or for worse.

Usually worse.

Changes made to the script, from the victim's point of view. Will be made in bold.

Where does the story begin?
