voyeuristic adventures, exhibitionist clients, and crossing the lines of social norms

Chapter 1 by zankoo zankoo

Danny Benton got back to his Brooklyn apartment, locked the door behind him, and flopped down on the couch.

"Fuck, if I never have to do another shoot of a family with children running every which way, it'll be too soon," he said to nobody. He took a breath, exhaled, and stared out the window.

He had a great view of the park -- well, in the narrow sliver of space between two other apartment buildings across the street. He caught a glimpse of some movement in one of the windows, and upon focusing more closely, recognized it as Man Who Wears Sweaters.

Yes, Danny had given meaningless names to all the folks he saw in the buildings across the street. Man Who Wears Sweaters got his name because he seemed to have a nearly infinite supply -- cardigans, v-necks, pullovers, cable-knit, you name it, he had a sweater for every occasion.

Danny wasn't particularly interested in Man Who Wears Sweaters. But right now, there wasn't any other movement in the windows across the way. Plus, he was exhausted from the family photoshoot he had just finished and truth be told, he needed to get his mind away from work.

Danny rose from the couch, got a beer from the kitchen, sat back down again, and flicked on the television. He channel surfed for a bit, drank about half the beer, and before he knew it, he had dozed off on the couch.
