The Mind Altering App

The Phone alarm rings on the table besides Samuel’s bed, loudly announcing the start of a new day and waking up the twenty year old. Sam grumbles as he lurches off his bed and hunts in his nearby closet for clothes. After finding a pair of brown shorts and a black t-shirt and his favorite pair of slippers he stumbles to the mirror hanging from his door to inspect himself. Once again the same guy looks back at him, a six foot man with messy brown hair, brown eyes, slightly muscular body and pale skin.

Samuel turned around back to his bed to pick up his phone, the thing he spent the majority of his time on, upon turning it on he noticed a new app had appeared as if from nowhere. It was represented as a black box with a pink eye with extra markings around it. Just as he was about to open it up a call came from below. “Samuel Breakfast is ready!” It was his mother downstairs. With the call of food on the table Sam put his phone in his pocket and left his room to join his family for breakfast.
