The Man and the Golden Jewel:
Part 1) The First Conquest.
“My name is Jeff Carter, and three months ago I found a Golden Jewel called The Golden Eye in an ancient temple in South America called El Templo de la Mente or Temple of The Mind, I am a novice explorer and for three months I searched for this lost temple for rumors of a golden Jewel bestowed to them by their Gods capable to bend other people’s minds to its will, it was used by the tribe to control women from conquered tribes they would be used as concubines…
But unfortunately, its name is lost to history, but they were eventually destroyed by the Inca before their destruction they were able to hide the location of the temple from the Inca. They had built a temple for the Jewel to house and protect it but with their society nearly destroyed due to the invasion of the Inca, they stopped but they did place the Jewel in it hiding the map to its location from the Inca.
While walking in the jungle the ground collapsed I thought I walked into a trap but I landed inside a room there was pottery around me curious, I journeyed further in and I found a massive room it was very dusty and it was very hard to breathe but I was able to make out the runes inscribed within the temple. They were not Incan but from what I read I deduced it was the lost temple! The runes told the story of a Jewel of great power with the ability to control others, this interested me for it was very similar to the rumor I heard, for an hour I walked I went everywhere looking for it but soon towards the very back of the temple, I found a pillar on top of it was a rock it dusted it and it began to glow the light filled the room, and after a few seconds it stopped I looked at it and I was amazed this had to be the Jewel! I left the temple the same way and after a few days of travel, I found myself at civilization I boarded a plane to New York at first I was questioned on the Jewel by Chilean Authorities but with a little “persuasion” I was able to keep it.
