The Mall

Your name is Nikolas Creed, you are 19 years old and have just moved out of your parents. Your best friend Maria has been helping you move into your new place all weekend, It was her idea for you two to catch a movie to celebrate.

You climb into your black jeep around 7:45, and head to the local mall where the theater is attached. You park it around the middle of the parking lot, it was not very busy seeing as it was later on a Sunday. As you walked towards the front of the theater you saw Maria near the door looking down at her phone.

Maria was a very beautiful girl, you had met in junior high and became friends after being stuck on a lame social project together. She had soft ginger hair that hit just past her shoulders and deepest amber eyes. Since she was easily a foot smaller than you, you always teased her calling her a "tiny little fireball" when she got excited. You had some feeling towards her but you never had the guts to say anything to her, you were scared it would ruin your friendship.

Today she was wearing a thick hoodie while she was standing in the corner away from the snow that was starting to fall. As you stepped forward she looked up and smiled, "Hey Nikolas, how was the drive from the new place?"

"It was good, though I didn't know it was going to snow..." You say looking down at your hoodie and running shoes, "lets get inside before we freeze to ."

She laughed and followed you through the glass door of the movie theater, the wall of warm air and the smell of popcorn hit you both. It was slightly busy as you walked to the ticket counter, a pimply teenager. You look at the movies playing tonight and Maria turns to you, "What do you feel like watching?"
