The Land of Sharlix

(So, this is my first try at writing here, and I would like to apologize for any spelling and/or grammar errors. I also want to state that in this world races that usually only come in a single gender will/should have either a counterpart race or have two genders (Examples: Gorgons are commonly female but in this setting there are male versions, Tengu are all male but some say that harpys or sirens are the female version, etc.))

Setting: Sharlix is a fantasy based world with multiple humanoid races.

History:

The lands of Sharlix is home to a number of tribes that have split themselves from one another and grouped up with those that share similar traits to themselves the main tribes of Sharlix consist of the Infernal, Celestial, Half-Beast, Mystic, Elemental, and the Norms.

The Infernals tend to resemble fiendish beings with horns, tails, and leather wings. Many infernal have cruel personalities and believe they are better then the other tribes, but there are the occasional outliers that are kind and treat other races as equals. (Pit Fiends, Succubi/Inccubi, Imps, etc.)

The Celestials tend towards light colors, glittery skin, and feathered wings. Celestials often view the other tribes as reckless children they don't mean any disrespect with this outlook its just that the other tribes tend to make the wrong choice especially the infernals. (Cherubs, Seraphs, Ophanim, etc.)

The Half-Beasts come in many shapes and forms some appear as humans with the lower bodies of animals and insects, others may have the head of an animal, or appear as humanoid animals, a rare few look like they may be Norms only to shift into the form of a beast. Half-Beasts are often viewed as savages or barbarians but in truth they simply have a better connection to nature and their own instincts taking after the beast within. (Centaur, Minotaur, Furry, etc.)

The Mystics where a group of beings from other tribes that unlocked skills within themselves and changed part of their souls members can look like norms but use magic to command the world around them, other who came from the half-beast tribe may look more humanoid but shift into an animal form or be looked at as an evolution from their old tribe. In general Mystics tend to be scholars always looking to learn of course sharing the information that they have gathered is a different subject all together. (Witch/Warlock (Norm), Kitsune (Half-Beast), Djinn (Elemental), Fairies, etc.)

The Elementals are one of the most varied of the tribes being formed from the elements of the world themselves many elementals don't have a set form but do tend towards a preferred form, there are a few elementals that do posses permanent forms however some of the other tribes wonder if this causes issues among the tribe but prefer not to ask. (Nymph, Undine, Slime, Sylph, Wisp, etc.)

The Norms are the largest tribe being made from base races that have no real "talents" or special skills, but don't think that makes them weak after all they have numbers and a tendency to fight no matter what stands in their way. The other tribes view the Norms as children playing life and that exactly how the norms like it, after all who doesn't like to be surprised every now and then? (Human, Elf, Dwarf, Gnome, Orc, etc.)

There are other tribes that occupy this realm but many are little in number, or hiding where no one can find them? But that is besides the point Sharlix is a world at peace of course fights occur and tensions rise, but that is a normal occurrence.
