Chapter One: The Unexpected Guest Penny and Bernadette were enjoying a quiet evening at their apartment, sipping wine and catching up on their favorite shows.

Penny and Bernadette exchanged another look, this one filled with confusion. Howard had always been a bit of a player, but they never thought he would actually try anything with them. 'What kind of project?' Penny asked, trying to keep her voice steady. Howard chuckled and held up the device for them to see. It was a small chip, no bigger than a quarter. 'It's a mind control chip,' he declared proudly. 'All I have to do is insert it into your brains, and I can make you do whatever I want.'

Penny and Bernadette looked at each other in disbelief. Was he serious? Before they could voice their concerns, Howard reached out and implanted the chip into their heads, one after the other. As soon as the chip was in place, they felt a strange sensation wash over them. It was as if their minds were being taken over by someone else.
