The Babysitter

I called at my friend's place to get my electric drill back. Harry had borrowed it some time ago, and I wanted to use it. I knocked at the door of his flat, and when it opened a girl was standing there. I'd never seen her before, and for a second I thought I was at the wrong door.

"Is Harry there?" I asked.

"No, sorry, they're both out. I'm babysitting."

She was gorgeous, with long blonde hair and blue eyes. I explained what I'd come for.

"Oh, well, I don't know where that might be. Perhaps you'd better come back another time when Harry's here." She looked deep into my eyes. "Or maybe you'd like to come in, and I'll help you look. The baby's asleep, so it's no problem."
