Greetings and Bienvenue, Welcome one and all to the weird and wonderful world of Marcus Dark and I will be the Omnipotent Megalomaniacal Master of Ceremonies for this little Soiree and these two imps on either side of me are my bickering, bumbling Emissaries whom you have already met [You Have My Sympathies] and who I will entrust you to momentarily [Again... You Have My Sympathies] But before that let us have a chat and get a few things out of the way.

Let's get the boring semi-entertaining stuff out of the way first and then we can move on to the reason most of us are here... Enough kinky, twisted sex acts to sink the Titanic a dozen times over, Enough debauchery to make Caligula blush, and Enough to make Oedipus, Jocasta, Phaedra, Electra, and the rest of that fucked up family look like an episode of Leave It To Beaver (and no that is not the name of a porno. Get your mind out of the gutter you Degenerate.)

Firstly, My style or lack there of may not be what many of you are used to and for that I apologize but that is the reason for this page. I have a tremendous amount of respect for those writers who care enough about their readers to let them know what they can expect which is especially good if they are doing something unusual or off the rails. My Hat's off to You, Dear Friends.

So.. Some things you might need to know about me are...

Just to warn you my sense of humor will often times be dark, sarcastic, childish, and borderline schizophrenic as you've no doubt picked up on from the opening so deal with it. I may be a writer but I never claimed to be Stable.

Realism is not my concern. Fun, However, Is.. So if you think something is too unrealistic then by all means tell me but I must urge you not to take it too seriously or we won't have any fun and as That Famous Wascally Wabbit said... "If You Take Life Too Seriously You'll Never Get Out of It Alive."

Next, I have a vocabulary and I'm not afraid to use it so for all of you out there moving forward some of you will probably learn some new words.

I'm also a student of Philosophy and Psychology, not literally, but I do enjoy those aspects of writing so the best I can promise is to try not to get too deep unless it's Sexual, of course.

Because of my Detail-Oriented Style it may take me several chapters to do what other Authors on this site do in one. Now I'm not trying to be a Dick. That is NOT a Criticism because I have enjoyed virtually every story I have read with only a few rare exceptions. The reason is simple... A friend of mine from the site said he believed that his story was the success it is because he kept it simple and the characters and concepts were easy to follow. To which I replied I like simple I just can't do it.

As To The Story...

What I have planned is a Multi-Arc Storyline. Each Story Arc May contain several mini or side arcs with shifting points of view, flashbacks, time-skips, super chapters, Numerous fourth wall breaks... Ambitious I know but as my first story I intend to devote all the time and effort I can spare to this story. And while the story will be private for now I do plan to open it to the public (Barring sudden or Debilitating Illness) though moderated to Ensure both Quality and Content. When I do open this story up I would like to extend a personal invitation especially to the writers of The Mind Controlling Mutant, Mind Controlling Metahuman, To Prove Superiority, The Scorned, Lucifer's Son, Naruto: Evil Harem Story, Last Dragon of The Leaf, Fired, Van The Wicked, Apex Seed, Revan Fucks The Multiverse, Fracture, It's Good To Be The King, Heroine Corruption Inc, Wonder Woman: Oathbound, and Gabrielle and Xena stories just to name a few which are among my personal favorites on The CHYOA Site and whose skill as writers should be an inspiration to us all.

What To Expect...

This story will take place in a twisted world with a lot of people and places that are familiar to many of you but they are changed in fundamental ways to shape it into a whole 'nother kind of Universe...

In this story I intend to incorporate places, characters (heroes, heroines, villains, and villainesses) and storylines from Marvel, DC, Image, Valiant, Malibu, and likely a bunch of other sources with my own ideas naturally along with elements of horror, comedy, romance, fantasy, and several other genres and possibly a few reworks in an expanding universe of debauchery all centered around a young mind-controller who might not be quite human but not alien either. I already have several chapters complete and several others started with ideas for many more. The problem is My chaotic non-linear thought process, meticulousness, grandiose plans, and obsession with detail which drive me to provide you with the best possible Quality writing I can with what meager talents I have. It is a massive pain in my ass but as much as I enjoy writing your experience as a reader is important to me which is one of the reasons why I must insist that for those of you that like what I've done please like the chapter at the bottom of the page and I welcome any and all constructive criticism and critiques of my writing style. So if any of you have any questions, comments, or suggestions then don't hesitate to message me or drop me a line in the comment section and I will try to address your questions and concerns as soon as I can. As stated before I am a non-linear thinker and I often compare myself to a rubber ball bouncing back and forth from one chapter to another so if you notice any inconsistencies or continuity errors that I may have missed then please tell me and I will correct them.

I intend this to be a funny, sophisticated, well thought out reality-bending sex romp so prepare to throw canon and whatever you think you know about the characters we all know and love right out the nearest window.

My character may develop more slowly than many of you are use to so I respectfully ask for your patience and I promise to try and make the wait worth it.

There will be times when some chapters of the story will be weighed down with alot of what you might call scientific jargon but don't worry I will try to keep that to a minimum and counter balance what you might see as boring sciency shit with a little heat in the form of some hot sex or at least some flirty antics either in or follow that chapter so please for me.. Hang in there. These instances will largely be when the main character seeks out Scientists and/or Doctors to understand his condition and how his powers work or when detailing his marvelous achievements. The first to help him will be someone many of you are familiar with but probably won't immediately think of. The only hint I am going to give you is that they are from the marvel universe. Who it is I will leave to you to speculate amongst yourselves and eventually find out as the story progresses.

In regards to updates, I must again beg for your patience. I cannot promise that I will be able to add every week or month because as you will see reading my work, I put a considerable Amount of Time, Effort and thought into each and every chapter so other obligations will call me away from time to time which is why I have chosen to release so many chapters during my first posting.

I encourage you to stay abreast of the Story Map because I may improve, rearrange, extend, or add chapters to earlier points in the pre-existing storyline depicting earlier events rather than picking up from where I am in the story presently. Hindsight is 20/20 after all.

Without hopefully giving more away than I have already, I'll say that no place is out of the reach of The Main Character and his power: Heaven, Hell, Purgatory, Valhalla, Wakanda, Outworld, Zaterra, Jotunheim, The Dreamscape... If it exists in the multiverse then it is fair game and those outside the multiverse had better watch out as well because this new player to the game is no one to take lightly. He will grow to become an unstoppable of nature that will cow or crush all before him. He will command respect and admiration or he will cast them and all they know and love into the inescapable abyss of oblivion from which none may return. Dante Alighieri said it best - "Relinqvĭte omnem spem, vōs qvī intrātis" (Latin. "Abandon hope all ye who enter here").

In short no movie, television series, book, manga, graphic novel, comic book, anime, cartoon, or genre is safe in the perverse universe of Marcus Dark so be warned.

If any of you have something in particular you'd like to see happen even if it conflicts with something I've already done then let me know and I'll consider it. The beauty of M-Theory is that everything that can happen does happen just not within the same reality. Every decision causes the current reality to split off into multiple parallel branches, Each representing every variable of a given choice. For example - A man is walking down a path through a forest and he comes to a fork in the road. He stands there trying to decide what to do but the resulting choices of that decision create multiple branches to that prime reality. For instance, in one reality he decides to go left, in another he goes right... In still another version of reality he turns around and goes back the way he came while in the original version he sits down in the middle of the road unable to decide what to do.

My point is that everything is possible. The most powerful telepaths are not bound by the paltry limitations of time and space as you'll see later on whatever you eventually decide.

Also I would like you to treat this story as an Easter Egg Hunt. You will find references to books, movies, and other areas of our culture so as you read see if you can find them.

I'd also like to give a personal Thank You to gene.sis for his patience and careful consideration of my questions about the rules so that I can hopefully avoid any rule violations in my first story on this incredible site. Also I would like to Thank all of the fantastic writers of the Mind Controlling Mutant particularly those involved in the Mark Williams, Ethan Rhodes, and Steven Walker branches whose incredible bodies of work have pushed me to begin writing this story and many of whom have most generously given me permission to rework some of their chapters for use in my own work. Right now you're probably wondering if I can make good on all my plans. Well your guess is as good as mine... I guess time will tell and while I don't know how long I can keep the momentum going I'll at least try to make it a fun ride for however long it lasts.
