Swap Abilities

I'm Tom, I'm 18 years old and one day, when I was walking around the city, a strange old man came up to me. He was dressed all in black. He said that he wanted to give me some abilities, because he felt that he would soon die. And then he grabbed my hand and a strange feeling ran from my fingertips to my head. I closed my eyes for a second, and when I opened them, the old man was gone. I looked around, puzzled, and decided that I was just imagining it because I wasn't getting enough sleep.

I went back to my house and started studying for my exams. I often thought of this old man and decided to find out what kind of abilities he gave me. I turned off my laptop and got up from my desk. At first, I thought I got the abilities of superheroes and tried to do everything just like them, but nothing worked.
