Surviving the Apocalypse

The world is over, everything is in ruins, there's no real society or structure left. As such, the world is now unsafe and it's not smart to travel alone unless you're a major badass. Through the chaos, small little hamlets, towns, citadels, bases, and compounds have arisen and more often than not, it's oppressive/dictatorship rather than community.

It is also common for bands of raiders, creatures, monsters, mutants, or something else entirely to be out and about looking for any easy prey. They will use any method available and will be merciless and cruel in their attacks, especially to any women with you as they will quickly find themselves as nothing more than toys/slaves for them to be used and abused.

Through all this, you are here. You've found a haven, whether it's safe or not for long is debatable unless you can get some defenses and weapons built up through scavenging. However, being alone isn't the best and as such you work to find people to help survive in this world, or even creatures that aren't a threat to you to work beside you for shelter, food, and protection. Of course, so few people and the threat of dying any day means that people are willing to throw quite a few morals and inhibitions away to enjoy and live for the day.

As such, it is entirely possible for you to gain a harem of women of different ages and walks of life and not have to worry too much about fighting and drama.

You aren't a master of many trades, but you know just enough about different subjects and trades to get by and improve through trial and error, though having a master in the art/trade/profession would be more ideal. As such, you can get a base going in a low capacity, but more hands/help is always a good idea.

Plus, no matter how good the base is, don't get complacent that the base will stand against everything, so having a backup plan/location is always a must. If you want to survive and continue keeping those with you safe, you'll need to think and plan ahead while getting all the supplies you can, which can mean raiding the supplies of others to increase your chances at times.

Although, who's to say your a nice guy? Maybe your a raider and you enslave people to do your bidding while turning women into your slaves? Even if you were a nice guy, you'll find your morals being corrupted, tested, and destroyed given enough time as it will come down to you or them a LOT, so how much are you willing to sacrifice to help/save someone when you may not get anything back?

Of course, a primary consideration and question is this: Is this just one world or did something happen that merged dimensions into the land you now try to survive in?

Characters from your favorite items are alive and well.

However, be warned that the merging likely depowered a lot of people, so don't expect someone like Rias to be able to just wipe out an army with her powers as they've no doubt taken a massive blow to keep her alive through the collapsing of worlds.

Regardless, knowing how to fight, farm, build, and construct will serve you well especially against the threats that linger in the darkest areas.
