Take what you want

Chapter 1 by HonestlyImHell HonestlyImHell

Malik climbed out of the moving truck and admired his new home. It was a beautiful two-story house nestled in the heart of one of the city's more sophisticated neighborhoods. The streets were lined with stately oak trees, and the lawns and gardens of the neighboring homes were meticulously maintained. The house itself was an architectural masterpiece, with clean lines, soaring ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling windows that flooded the space with natural light. The backyard was spacious, complete with a sparkling swimming pool and a shaded patio area perfect for entertaining.

Better get to work, he thought to himself as he opened the truck. There was a lot to unload. He was looking forward to the task. He was in great shape and enjoyed working out. Plus, he was moving into his own place, what’s not to be excited about?

Malik began unloading the truck, taking inside all his belongings he had boxed up the day prior. He carried in all his clothes, shoes, dish-ware, electronics and decor. He unloaded his vinyl collection he was so proud of, along with his toolbox, and a half dozen other such items. He quickly fell into rhythm as the time began to blur together.

The day was hot, and Malik decided to take his shirt off as the sun glared down on him. Wiping the sweat from his head with his shirt, he tossed the shirt onto the lawn and reached for another box from the back of the truck.

“Hey there new neighbor!” A woman’s voice said cheerily. Malik turned to see a stunning blonde girl smiling at him. She was beautiful. She had blonde hair that fell past her shoulders, and clear blue eyes. She was short, and had a very petite frame. Everything about her seemed small and delicate, except for her breasts, which seemed to spill out of her white top. “I’m Jamie!” she said warmly, “and this is my fiancé Dave.” She gestured to the man next her her. He was a bit taller than Jamie was, but not by much. He was a short, chubby man with shaggy unkempt brown hair. Malik seemed to tower over the short man.

“Hello there! What’s your name?” Dave said extending a hand toward Malik. Malik of course smiled back and took Dave’s hand returning the handshake. “Malik. Pleasure to meet you.”

“Youch! Quite the handshake you’ve got there Malik” Dave said shaking his hand. “Can we help you unload anything?”

“That’s very kind of you, but I think I’ve just about got it handled. I actually enjoy the work if I’m being honest.” Malik responded trying his best not to look at the beautiful blonde. “It’s a good workout. Plus I’m just about finished up.”

“Well leave dinner to us then” Jamie said. “You must be hungry after all that lifting. I’ll come by in a few hours with a home cooked meal for you.”

“That sounds excellent.” He said looking into Jamie’s eyes. “I’m sure I’ll have worked up quite an appetite by then. That’s very kind.”

“Well” Dave said, pulling Malik’s attention back “We will let you get back to it though. No need to keep distracting you”. Out of his peripheral vision he noticed Jamie’s eyes drop to examine Malik’s muscular dark chest. Her smile was replaced by a simple look or concentration. Her eyes roamed up and down his body. After a moment, her smile returned as she looked back up at her fiancé and back again at Malik.

“Nice to meet you!” She smiled, as her and Dave turned and walked toward the house directly opposite your own. Malik couldn’t help but notice Jamie’s tight behind. Just like the rest of her, it was beautiful.

Malik spent the next hour unloading the rest of the truck. With the last of his belongings inside, he closed the back of the truck and walked back inside. He once again admired his beautiful new home and smiled to himself. All of this was his. All his hard work and late nights had come to fruition.

Content to leave all the boxes unpacked until tomorrow he looked around for a place to sit. He was exhausted and wanted to relax, but his furniture wouldn’t be here until tomorrow. He had just brought a twin mattress to spend the night tonight. The rest of his furniture was being brought over tomorrow. He had decided to pay a local moving crew to help him with the things he couldn’t move himself. Things like couches, tables, beds and appliances.

Remembering he had a set of camping chairs he picked through the piles of boxes until finding the camping chairs. He grabbed one and unfurled it before relaxing down into the chair.

Notes from the Author

Please be nice. I have never written anything in my entire life. But I’ve searched for a story like I have in my head for too long. Figured I’d do my best at bringing it to life myself. I’ve had this story idea bouncing around in my head for ages.

I am happy to take criticism or advice if it’s kindly delivered. Even if I’m not destined to be a writer, I find it enjoyable enough. Might as well do my best at it while I’m here. :)
