Flickering anxiously, the lights blinked on and off around the superhero as she prepared to save her friends in Hawkins from certain ****. The danger was hundreds of miles away, on the other side of America. There was no way she could have physically made the journey in ti[me to rescue them.

But the earthly constants of time and space paled in comparison to the power of telepathy: Eleven would fight the Upside-Down using her mind.

To help her, her friends had made the best of what they had to hand all the way out here in the middle of nowhere. The forces of darkness were coalescing around Hawkins and her base of operations, the place where she was going to change the tide, was a Surfer Dude Pizza place.

Floating in the salty water that would unlock time and space, El tried to concentrate. It was not an easy task, not with the blindfold over her eyes and the soaked clothes she had been still wearing when she had submerged. Her skinny jeans were starting to chafe as she floated on the water, while her white jumper was tight on her stomach and bra. The way she was gently bobbing up and down in the water, she almost felt like her breasts were sticking out of the water. She hoped Mike wasn’t staring at them. Staring at her.

Turning her thoughts away from the present, from what was physically around her, El squeezed her eyes shut behind her blindfold. She took a deep breath, feeling herself sink into the void. Into the black, blank mind-space where she could find where the forces of the Upside-Down were moving.
