Kaladin lashed himself upwards, into the night sky. The rush of wind on his face greeted him as he fell into the sky. This evening he had only one thing on his mind. Her. Shallan Davar was Jasnah Kholin's new and, in the opinion of Kaladin, quite beautiful ward. The first time he had seen her through her window was on accident, he was flying by when he noticed a half naked woman with bright red hair through a window. The image of her naked safe-hand had been burned into his brain. Then he began to start taking detours, if he was flying by, why wouldn't Kaladin just take a quick detour. An empty window here, a glimpse of red hair there, the occasional exposed safe hand. By this point Syl had caught onto what Kaladin was doing. When Syl confronted him, Kaladin denied it getting angry at Syl causing her to be distant for a bit. It was that night that Kaladin went directly to Shallan's window.
