Gwen: Is there anyway to stop it? it could be dangerous since from what I saw the portals that open are highly unstable when I dropped a handkerchief in it once it completely shredded it the moment it entered the portal.

Sue: This energy dampening ray we developed to dampen cosmic rays should also work on you. it will pretty much put a plug on all the tiny portals opening around you so you can finally get back to focusing on crime fighting spider-woman.

After Sue had hit her with the dampening ray Gwen returned to her day to day life no longer worrying about holes in reality appearing around her randomly. Months afterwards and there were still no signs of portals so Gwen was fairly confident that the problem was fixed so she returns to her regular duties of protecting New York City and trying to maintain her good grades in class.
