Introduction

Major Characters

Chrono 'Hei' Yaiba: Age 18, average build. Half grim reaper, half incubus, he is the hero of our story. He has 'soul lust', a symptom like that of blood lust, except that it is sexual in nature. Activates when he succumbs to anything. In soul lust mode, he is known as 'Hei', and is nearly invincible, and is able to 'soul steal' anyone, which is the submitting of the creature completely to Chrono's will mostly through sexual means. However, 'Hei' turns back to Chrono after one 'soul steal', and that creature will still be submitted to Chrono. Currently, Chrono is in a special 'school for the gifted' and is sealing his ability in a chain and lock on his left arm. He hangs the key around his neck.Chrono is a unique gunner, and wields Grave, a modified colt magnum which enhances Chrono's ability to 'curve' bullets (See the movie wanted).He is totally unaware of himself as he constantly worries about 'Hei'. He can call the **** God, Verloren, and the Fire God Asura through Word Sorcery.

Hana 'Rose' Mizuho: Age 20,Bust:DD cup.Very sleek body.A very serious and upbeat person, she is the first to befriend Chrono, and has what Hei calls an 'unconquerable soul', as he is unable to submit Hana to his will. This is because Hana also has a dual personality; while Hana is a swords woman, her other side , 'Rose', is Hei's equal in sorcery and has 'insatiable body syndrome', meaning Rose craves for sex constantly, a need that can only be temporarily satiated by Hei. It is ironic that Hana lusts for Chrono(He is exactly her type), but detests Hei. Her skill in the sword ,though, is ridiculously good, that Hei accepted her as Chrono's suitable companion.

Kaede Hasegawa: Age 19,Bust: C cup. Height is like a middle schooler. A skilled kunoichi, she specializes in 'word sorcery', which is the speech of ancient to perform magic.Originally sent to kill Chrono, her soul was stolen by 'Hei' until way later, when Chrono released part of her soul back to her. Aids Chrono along with Hana in their journey. Sexually experienced, and was one of the first to appear.

Aoi 'Sky' Shimizu: Age 25. Bust:F cup.Toned body.She is the teacher of the gang. Originally the leader, she became a member after having half of her soul taken by Chrono to break a creature's manipulation technique. She is the only person who Chrono had to use 'soul steal' himself so far.

Others (Monsters,Demons,Angels,etc)

Shadow: The basic form of all creatures (except humans),they manifest and take control when the host loses control of his desires. Considered in the bottom rank of monsters, it can be dangerous if the host is very strong. It can evolve into any other creature, and must be subdued immediately.Chrono's shadow is 'Hei',but that shadow is sentient and cannot be killed without killing Chrono as well.

Light:The other side of shadow, it becomes evil if it is tainted with a foreign darkness.It is very strong, and can instantaneously evolve into a high level creature.Regarded as an extremely 'high risk' creature.

Succubus/Incubus: Evolution from Shadows. They are sexually appealing to both men and women, and are gifted with a much weaker form of soul steal. However, Chrono is immune to their skill, and can easily overpower them.

Ghoul: Manifestation of shadows who have no host. Parasites,they seek a host to infect, and are the easiest to kill. However, there is an abundance of them throughout the world.

Demonic warrior: Very dangerous, they are the evolved form of shadows who took the body of an athlete. They are good in at least one martial art, and underestimating them is dangerous.

Kunoichi: For some reason, there are people dumb enough to send these after Chrono.Kaede was one of them, but defected. The rest have always had their soul completely taken, and go back home defeated.

Head kunoichi: These are stronger, and more difficult to tame as they are more resistant to mental and physical attacks.These ninjas also have a more advanced form of word sorcery, and are a challenge even for Hei.( though not for Chrono:He seems to be stronger, just that he always leaves the soul steal to Hei)

Fallen Angel: Angels who have fallen, seen by their shining wings and malicious heart.These creatures are very cunning, and use underhanded methods to defeat their prey.

Lilith:Queen of the succubus, and a very strong antagonist. Heavily lusts after Chrono, and thinks of Hei as an annoyance attached to Chrono.She encourages her underlings to go after Chrono.

Lucifer: King of the Demon world, and distant uncle of Chrono.Seeks to kill Chrono at first because of the supposed threat to his throne, but stopped later in the story.

Ichigo 'Raphael' Kami: An archangel who was sent by her father to assasinate Chrono, but defected after escaping with her soul intact.

Weapons

Grave:A colt magnum designed to shoot shadows and the like, its true form was actually Chrono's grave, an interdimensional bag containing his other weapons. Used in gun form only by Chrono, as 'Hei' uses it in its scythe form.

Onikiri/Kazekiri: Hana's dual swords, Onikiri and Kazekiri. They are specially crafted to have special abilities, like Chrono's Grave, and have special elements. Onikiri can cut whoever the user wishes to cut, and Kazekiri, having the wind element, is sharp enough to cut through anything.

Ancient:The speech of all things, those who know this speech can not only understand all manner of creatures, and can use it to command the elements, also known as word sorcery.

Word Sorcery: The use of Ancient to command the elements. It is also used to release spirits sealed inside Grave, Onikiri and Kazekiri. Mostly kunoichi know how to use word sorcery. The more proficient you are, the shorter it would take for you to chant the incantation.

Things to note:

-san: is a title of respect similar to "Mr.", "Miss", "Mrs.", or "Ms."

-kun:used by persons of senior status in addressing or referring to those of junior status, or by anyone when addressing or referring to male children or male teenagers. It can also be used by females when addressing a male that they are emotionally attached to or have known for a long period of time.

-chan: it expresses that the speaker finds a person endearing.

-senpai:used to address or refer to one's senior colleagues in a school, company, sports club, or other group. So at school, the students in higher grades than oneself are senpai.

kouhai: is a junior, the reverse of senpai, but it is not normally used as an honorific

-sensei: used to refer to or address teachers, doctors, politicians and other authority figures.

-sama: a significantly more respectful version of san. It is used primarily in addressing or referring to people much higher in rank than oneself, toward one's customers, and sometimes toward people one greatly admires.

Onii-san: used to address an older brother

Onee-san: Used to address an older sister

Okaa-san: Used to address 'mother'

Otou-san: used to address 'Father'

Hime: Princess, usually used with -sama.

-dono: An eve higher form of respect than -dono, it is used to address lords and the like. Those who have had their souls completely stolen call Chrono 'Chrono-dono'

shishou: used to address your master

Anything with ch- is more intimate, and even more would start with a t- sound.
