As you flew through the air, having just been hit by a car, your life flashed before your eyes.

As a child people praised you as a gifted mind. You used to win academic awards left and right.

You didn't have a lot of friends but you could always be seen playing with kids your age. Huge smile on your face.

Images flashed before you in a blur. White light blinds you for a few seconds before a preteen you sits in front of his desk studying intently.

Next you're on stage accepting another award... But there was no smile on your face.

It was at this stage you had stopped liking all the attention.

More images flash by, the same white light blinding you once again.

A teenage you sits at the back of his class, sleeping quite visibly. You knew the teacher wouldn't care to wake you, because you always gave him the same answer. "I'll pass your class, i'm only here for attendance."

This was in your last year of school. You had lost all interest in it by this point. A couple of years back you had discovered that you had no need to study. You always passed. You didn't get excellent marks, but you always passed.

More flashing images, more blinding white light.

This time it was a twenty something you relaxing in your chair playing FIFA. Your eyes flicked to a screen to your right every now and then. You'd created a computer program that bought and sold shares based on market trends. After school, with the computer skills you taught yourself, you started fixing people tech to make some money before retiring after a year to do this.

At this stage in your life, the stage you are now, you have lost faith in most of humanity. People were just not worth the time or effort it took to interact with them. The outside world was dangerous.

As your body hit the ground, vision flickering in and out, and blood pooled under you.

You thought, "Why'd i have to crave a chimichanga?"
