Slice of Life - Kimberly

Young and beautiful, Kimberly has wanted for little in her life. Her mother Opel has made sure she was sheltered sending her to an all girls school at the age of 12 and her stepfather Mike has made a fortune with his contracting position. She is young, innocent and very curious.

Going into the summer before her final semester at the academy she looks to the future, weighing her options for the year to come.

She had just received an invitation from her biological father to visit him in England. Her parents had devoiced when she was too young to even remember what his face looks like. It was a messy brake up, her mother didn't keep a single picture of him. She had said he cheated on her but little detail beyond that. Needless to say she knows nothing about the letter he sent his daughter not the fact that she was seriously considering the trip.

Her stepfather has a proposition for her as well, an internship at his contractors office. It's nothing glamorous but it would very likely lead to a lucrative job after she graduates. Only issue are the guys that work there. She has meet most of Mike's coworkers before and calling them scumbags would be putting it lightly.

If that internship pays at all Kimberly doesn't imagine it will be much. Maybe she should look for work herself, could be more fun, wouldn't have to deal with all those perverts, and might even pay enough for her to have money for this school year. What to pick though?

This will be her last summer with her friends, perhaps she will want to make the most of it who knows where everyone will end up this time next year. She could focus the whole season on spending as much time with Terra and Ben as possible. She has always enjoyed having slumber parties with Terra, they could even take that beach trip they have always planned. Then there's Ben, so distant this past year, maybe it's time to reconnect before he heads off to the ends of the Earth after graduation.
