She unboxed the collar and showed the collar to the camera. To show the sensor readouts she put the collar on her pet dog Momo and linked her phone to the collar.

"I contacted the maker of this smart collar and asked them about the features they are currently implementing and was surprised that they have an experimental version that adapts the sensor readings to work also with the human body. They were gracious enough to provide me with a special firmware version to try out."

Naomi repositioned the camera, to be better in frame with her laptop to record herself while flashing the new firmware. After the process was complete she showed the blinking lights on the collar to the camera and put it around her own neck.
