Reincarnated As The Demon King Of Winter

Scott Winters, a well mannered man all his life, was helping an old woman across the street currently, and after he finished helping her, he began walking the other direction, continuing his journey to his destination.

As he crossed the street again, he began rushing towards the restaurant his high school crush was waiting in, as he was running at the fastest speeds he could, and in the middle of his stride, while he wasn’t paying attention, as he was in the center of the street, he had a second to realize what was about to happen, as a massive box truck slammed into him, sending him flying fifty feet away, dead on impact.

Nothingness. A void, utterly unending…

But then… He opened his eyes? And was met with a heavenly palace in the clouds, behind a mighty glowing gate, at the end of a relatively small line of people waiting.

Scott chose to wait patiently, and after an hour of the line moving forward, he met a beautiful Angel, who asked his name, “Oh, well, I’m Scott Winters.”

“Oh… I recognize that name. I bet there’s only good newsss…” As Scott was smiling to himself, the voice of the Angel dropped, and as she glared at him, she continued, “You… Have been chosen for… Umm… Well, you’ll be a Demon King in another world, in your next life. I’m sorry, but your soul’s been taken by another divinity, better luck next time.”

As Scott was sputtering to himself, a fiery circle appeared beneath him, as he fell unceremoniously into it, leaving the Angel to look longingly at it, “Ohh… He would’ve made a really good Angel!” She released a frustrated sigh as she continued down the line.

In the midst of his fall, Scott felt his body begin changing, as the surroundings, despite starting as a burning red, suddenly shifted to an icy blue, as his skin shifted with it, as his previously black short hair, turned an icy white and growing to his shoulders, as, with some sort of cosmic irony from his name, he saw a floating screen appear before him.

“Ok, so what now?” As he was still falling, another screen popped into existence, this one much more interesting to him.

As he saw those words, he got so giddy, he forgot he was falling, as he suddenly reached the bottom, and he slammed into the ground.

As he took the mighty fall, he rose, cracking his back as he did, not worrying about the damage as it would heal in a minute or two, so he started looking around.

And what he saw? An endless expanse of glacial spires, and a frozen world, unfit for life, as seen by the lifeless plane it was, as he started walking.

After an hour of walking, he’d gotten impatient, as he was about to cast Frost Mount, but he stopped. What should he summon? By the name, you COULD assume it was bound to horses alone, but Steve was privy to a wild imagination, as he pondered, he tried to will a Frost Dragon into existence, and, after a bit of flurrying began gathering, what awaited his sight was a quite large Wyvern of Ice, as it spat shards of frost from its maw into the ground.

“That’ll do.” He grinned, as he hopped atop the form of the mighty Wyvern, and with a slap of suddenly apparated frost reigns, the Wyvern took to the skies.

As Steve was soaring through the skies, he got to pondering, ‘Steve's not really a good name for a Demon King, so which one should I use?’ He looked at the numerous names he’d gained as a Demon, after a minute of thinking, he decided to go by, ‘Demon King Frost.’

By the Sacred sign on his name, he assumed he shouldn’t be all loosie goosy with it, so that should work. "I am Frost, The Demon King!” As soon as he shouted that out, he was shriveling up from embarrassment, but it would work, for now, he begrudged.

As he was soaring through the skies atop his Wyvern, Frost saw something in the distance.
