Paper Cuts

BoneWorks Paper Company, a company that’s been around for as long as anyone can remember….

Nobody knows a lot about what goes down in there…. Except the employees…. But they just play it off like an average job to everyone….

And that’s what it seemed like to Mac…. An average officer worker who lost her old job a few months back….

She still had some money to keep her going, but other expenses weren’t making anything for her easy….

She put out a bunch of copies of her resume to other jobs online but none have called her for an interview yet….

Mac was scrolling through a google page of websites of job openings to see if there were any open positions at some places…

“Argh…. I really hope I can get a job at this place…. Considering how much money I have left…. I’m nearly broke and bills are coming in soon!” Thought Mac as she sent the resume online to a paper company…

She finished up and went to sleep as she slept on her bed….

The next morning…..

Mac woke up to see her phone had a notification in her email as looked at and gasped…

“Oh my god…. They’re asking me for an interview!!!” She said as she squealed with joy as she began to shower and get some nice interview clothes on…..

As she finished changing she looked at the time on her phone…

“Alright….. it’s 6:30, and now I need to be there at about 8:00….. welp better get to studying some questions!!”

Mac worked on studying some good interview questions and responses after a few good minutes….

“Alright, let’s get going!” She said as she got in her car and drove off…

After she got there…. She met up with the interviewer inside the nice fresh lobby of BoneWorks….

“Hello Mac…. My names Miss Greta, I’ll be interviewing you today….. so why don’t tell me a bit about yourself?” She asked

“Hmm…. Well!”

The interview went on for a while as Mac answered all the interview questions the best of her ability…

“Alright….. Thank you for your time Mac….!” Said Greta

“Oh…. Well thank you…. Miss Greta….. so will I receive an email or…..“ asked Mac as they were Interrupted by Greta’s phone going off…

“Hold on……!” Said Greta as she took the call as Mac gave her space…

Mac was sweating a little storm as Greta looked at Mac as she was talking on the phone

“Mac….. our CEO has just informed me that he’s been in the market for real go-getters like yourself!”

“Wait…. Does that mean?”

“Yes….. You’re hired!”

Mac felt a enormous feeling of happiness ball up inside of her…

“I…. Thank you so much…. When can I start?”

“Right now…. You’ll be working in the office with the other employees in filing paperwork for orders of…. Well paper!”

“Ok…. So…. Is there Anything else I should know?”

“Yeah….. you’ll be working on the second floor…. Some of our other co workers can help you out, we’ll have your new uniform sent to you tomorrow at your front door…. But today…. You can just enjoy the clothes you are wearing today!”

“Oh ok…. Welp I guess I’ll just—“

“WAIT!”

“Huh?”

“Sorry….. I forgot to mention….. don’t exceed your break time…. Be careful with the ink…. And don’t…… get paper cuts!”

“Okay…. Those last two things I understand….. but why paper cuts?” Asked Mac as Greta looked at her concerned….

“Because….. You’ll get hurt….. and I do mean that by the way….. just remember there should be some emergency medical kits in case though so…. Yeah..” Said Greta as Mac went into the elevator to the second floor….

When she reaches the second floor, she….

1.) She meets up with a co worker named Alice as she takes you to your desk and Mac accidentally gives herself a paper cut

2.) Mac meets with Margret as they work the printer….

3.) Mac is shown to her desk by Nishki a assistant to the regional manager as he piles some paper work for her to work on…. As Mac gets super tired and finds a break room….
