I yawned awake before suddenly realizing I wasn't in my room! I seemed to be in some sort of old fashioned cottage rather than my home. It didn't seem like a dream though...

Well, I wasn't going to get any answers lying in bed, so I stood up. As soon as I did, a window as if from a video game popped up right in front of my face!

Wait, was I in a video game? What, had someone hooked me up to a VR machine in my sleep? Assuming VR tech this good even existed... But, at least if it was video games I am in my element. No one could beat me at video games. I looked closer. Hmm, classic RPG, huh? And at second look the cottage I was in did look medieval. But what was this "A Hero's Luck" passive skill that I already had? Then another window popped up:

CHARACTER RANDOMIZATION OPTION: You may choose to randomize your race, occupation, class, or stats. Doing so will give a bonus to total stat points available to spend, as well as unlock special races and occupations that would not normally be available until later. You must choose which features to randomize now and randomize them all at once.

That could make making a character easy but equally risky. I carefully thought on what to do...
