Myria, The Exile
Chapter 1
by lknight
The Goddess Myria was always a sight to behold. Being one of beauty and pride, she caused a longing for any who came across her, both men and women. With long, silken blonde hair, an impressive hourglass figure, snowy white skin, and clothing that often teasingly revealed her assets to further provoke onlookers into staring at her beauty.
However, beauty aside, her personality was haughty, arrogant, and flighty. She often seduced men into believing she was interested in them, and at the moment when they thought they could bed her, turned them down. She favored mocking other goddesses for not being as beautiful as she, and openly flirted with those married or promised to another. In this, while Myria had many admirers, the vast majority of the other gods had grown to hate her.
There were many slights in the past, most of which were overlooked and ignored. However, as time pressed on, more and more complaints were pushed against her to the King and Queen of the Gods. While they kept peace, it wasn't until Myria brazenly flirted with the King that action was finally taken. Stripped of her powers, she was made into a demi-goddess and banished to the mortal world until she learned humility and proper respect.
Ever haughty, Myria assumed they would quickly reverse their decree. As she was sent down, she only sighed lightly, and looked about her. A rocky area, with some trees nearby. A forest was distant in front of her, and behind her the rocks rose steeply into what appeared to be a scalable mountainside, but no signs of civilization near. Ever confident, Myria began walking. She believed she could deal with anything thrown at her, but combat really wasn't in her nature as a deity of pride and beauty...
Which way does she go? What happens to our poor Demi-Goddess?
