Knicknacks lay scattered or broken, the nightstand has been snapped in half, the lamps and a few books disheveled, the pillows and curtains have been torn and sent asunder all around the floor. Not to mention all the blotches and wet/crusty spots all over the carpet, walls, and some on the ceiling.

“Oh look. The beast awakens.” Mason says as he walks in. Joe looks at his boyfriend; fully dressed in his office clothing, his hair finely groomed, and sipping a cup of coffee.

“Jesus… Aaaagghh” Joe grimaces as he gets up halfway.

“Easy, easyyy.” Mason helps his boyfriend up on his feet and takes him to the bed, which has been shoved all the way to the corner of the room. Joe irks and grunts painfully as Mason helps him settle down onto the mattress.

“F-Fuck… It’s always a bitch when I change back…” Joe pants as he settles in.

“You know the drill.” Mason tucks a pillow behind his back. “Morning-After pills.” He offers up a small cup of pills and a glass of orange juice. Joe takes the cup and pops the pills into his mouth and gulps down the OJ.

“Fuck… My head is pounding…”

“So were you.” Mason says as he jiggles Joe’s exposed tummy and tickles his bellybutton affectionately.

“Shiiit…” Joe groans as he sighs. “What time is it?”

“Around 7am. You changed back about couple hours ago.” Mason sits on the end of the bed with his coffee. “I called your professor, told him you transformed, and he completely understands.”

“Okay…” Joe frowns and shakes his head and looks at his loving mate, “Babe… I swear, I thought I was on top of it. The full moon wasn’t due until another few nights. Plus my regular doctor was unavailable, and apparently his substitute thought I didn’t need my usual dosage, so she refused to give me my usual injections, and then one thing after another, I couldn’t get a straight answer. I’m sorry I didn’t mention it, I just thought-”

“Hey. Hey, hey. Babe?” Mason brings his chin up “It’s okay. When I called up your professor, he said a lot of the other students had to call out. Every lycanthrope in the city was caught off-guard. The news said it was a Solstice moon last night. That’s why it just snuck up on you.”

“Ohhhhhhhh. That’s what it was…” Joe frumps back. “Fuck. That means I’m going to be transforming every night for the rest of the week.”

“Looks like it. I can get your vaccine on my way back from work today.” Mason reaches down and gently grabs Joe by the nuts over the blanket “That way we won’t be up all night ‘redecorating’ the apartment.”

“Heh heh… God, how are you so put-together.”

“The serum’s working great on turning your spunk into energy. Plus I’m on some kickass painkillers from the number you did on my ass.”

“Heh heh… I’m sorry, Mason…”

“Hey, don’t. None of that.” Mason strokes his cheek. “It was hot. REALLY fucking hot.” He giggles and kisses his cheek again. “I’m not going to be late for work, and I’m flying on endorphins right now. Besides that, one of the executives at work is a werehorse, and I’m pretty sure another one is a werewolf, and my boss’s personal assistant is a werelion. So chances are we’ll have to put off the meeting altogether. So win-win.”

“Okay, babe.” Joe smiles and nods.

“So. You just need to rest up. Let your body heal. Clean up the place when you’re feeling better. And maybe make my favorite tonight?”

“Heh heh… Strawberry Soufflé?”

“That’s a good monkeybutt. Can I have a kiss?”

Joe smiles and moves up to smooch his lover once, twice and three times before his aching body sinks back in. “I love you so much, Mason.”

“I love you too, Joe.” He reaches in and diddles that 1-inch flaccid pecker and playfully tickles those balls and even bounces that round gut up and down. “Love your tubb-chubb, babe.”

“Stooooop.”

“Heh heh heh. I gotta get going.” Mason gets up and puts on his coat and before tucking in his lover “I’ll see you when I get home.”

“Bye, hun.” Joe responds before he pulls up the blanket and snuggles in bed to nap off his post-transform hangover.
