Misery

You are a farmer, didn't use to be that way but alas this is what you've become and this is where you will stay so long as there are people keeping you away from your true calling. Of course it's not all bad, the isolation made things quieter for you, a chance to enjoy your favorite books, watch shows you enjoys, and hop on down to town to rent the latest movie you want to watch. You watch your favorite sport, go on YouTube to watch your favorite internet personality speak about their lives, their products, or whatever they are famous for. Not like you have much else of course, no wife to call yours, no women to be your girlfriend and certainly no children to help raise and teach. There's nothing but yourself for miles and miles and it gets rather lonely and boring during those long days.

Naturally during the day you farm, gather the crops, check the cattle and make sure your stores are well maintained. It was during these times you enjoy talking to your cattle as there is not much else that you could be doing with yourself. Truthfully you could live out in your farm for months with the supplies you have but you spend time going into town for some interaction and perhaps a girl to bring home for the night. After all with no one around you and a rather small farm to handle your days are rather boring as you make your way down the road in your truck to see a car on the side of the road.

You begin to wonder if this was an accident or perhaps someone needed assistant your mind beginning to wander as you think perhaps the person in the car was the one. Needless to say you were not expecting what was going to happen next as you park a few feet away from the down vehicle and began to investigate with a weapon you had in your glove compartment. Inside could be anyone from your neighbor's eighteen year old daughter, some celebrity, or just some stranger passing through.

Moving towards the car you were shocked to see who it was.
