Love Live: The True Idol Project

Idols have been a big part of Japan's entertainment culture. They have been around for quite a while, but recently a sudden surge of Idol Groups started appearing all over Japan.

The reason? The newly established competition that aims to bring new idol groups to the top of the ranks. Love Live.

With the new competition promising fame, thousands of girls all around Japan started forming their own groups in hopes of entering Love Live and winning 1st place. However, things are not as easy as it seems.

Among those thousands, hundreds fail. Not because they failed to form a group, but because they failed to maintain it.

Love Live is a heavy and difficult competition. The rivalries are fierce, and it's not like you can just waltz in and expect to win immediately. You will struggle, a lot. Most failed groups fail to manage their own time and effort, often focusing on the wrong things instead of the actual priorities, therefore their times are often wasted on useless activities that does not bring them forward.

And now, these groups are either signing themselves into an entertainment agency, or they open up their own agency and hired their own producer/manager.

Amongst those managers, you're probably the only one left out. You just graduated from University and not a lot of agencies and idol groups are interested in hiring a fresh-grad.

But often times, lady luck says differently...
