Living Arrangements

My name is Ralph, and I'm going to tell you how I managed to be living with six gorgeous women.

It started with my girlfriend, Kris, getting tired of me crashing at her place. She said I was homeless, I told her I was just in-between living situations. Kris and I had decided that we weren't ready to share a place yet, she was adamant about "maintaining her own space."

Thankfully, my little sister, Jessica, and her friend, Pam, had just moved into a house that was too big for them and were looking for some roommates. It had six bedrooms, it used to be a sorority house. Kris told me that her little sisters, the twins, Cami & Iggy, and her best friend, Jane, all currently were looking for a place to live. I called Jessica to let her know, "Good work, bro!", knowing I needed a place as well she offered the last bedroom to me, "Well, we just need one more roommate, wanna move in?" I was so happy she asked, although Kris mentioned that living with five other girls would be tough, "Five girls in one house? Sounds like a nightmare to be honest." I hadn't considered the difficulty, I just wanted to make Kris happy and give her space.

That's when my best friend, Jim, called me... "Hey dude. Do you know anyone looking for a roommate? my little sis, Mandy, is trying to move into the city so she can be closer to her school." With that in mind, I figured I would sacrifice my spot in the new house, it would make more sense for another girl to live there. "Actually, Jim, I think I do! Can I give you a call right back?"

"Jessica? yeah, Jim's little sister needs a place to live, and I think I could probably find something else for myself and let her move in with you all." "Bro! No need! I was talking to Kris, and apparently Cami & Iggy are inseparable, they planned on sharing a room the whole time." It was honestly pretty reliving to hear that I wouldn't have to tell Kris that I passed up a living situation. "Oh! That's awesome, this will be a pretty crowed house tho!" "Wait until you see it, this place was probably a mansion a hundred years ago!"

I called Jim back to let him know to give Mandy the heads up.

Less than a week later, my new roommates and I all sat down to discuss the living situation...
