Liam & Emily

Liam, a 22 year old man with short brown hair, blue eyes, and glasses which he hasn't replaced in 4 years follows his friends into the bar, he's the designated driver so he's thinking of just sitting there on his phone, maybe having a water. Liam sits down at a table, the only empty one since the bar is pretty crowded, while his friends go to the bar and order some drinks, and try, but fail to pick up some women. After about 20 minutes he goes up to the bar and just orders a water and tips $5 since the bartender is really nice to him, strangers being nice to him is rare, as it seems people will only like him if he's extremely attractive, which he isn't.

Emily, a 21 year old woman with blue eyes and long blonde hair that reaches a bit below her shoulders is also the designated driver for her friends, she walks in about 30 minutes after Liam, but she immediately goes up to the bar and asks for a water, tipping $2 as she forgot her cards at home and that was all the cash she had, she spots Liam at a table by himself, he also seems to just be drinking a water, playing a game on his phone, and she walks up to the other chair at the table, the flow of people into thr bar is starting to slow down by now.

"Mind if I sit here?" She says to him.

"No, go right ahead." He says, putting down his phone to be respectful.

She sits down across from him. "Are your friends here?"

He thinks its a bit of a strange question and hesitantly answers, "Yes."

She responds while crossing her legs to get a bit more comfortable. "You also the driver?"

"Yeah, I don't drink as much as my friends so I'm often the one who voulenteers."

"Me too, although I'm 21 so it would be nice if someone else did it once."

"I'm 22, my birthday was last week so I've had a little over a year to develop an opinion."

"My birthday is in 5 months."

He thinks for a moment. "So, that would be in... November, since it's June right now."

"You got it, November 10th!"

"Off-topic here, but who was the weirdest kid in high school for you?"

She thinks for a few seconds. "I would have to say this one kid, his name was Mason, I don't even know where to begin with him, basically he was a big bully, especially to me, but he was super popular, and one day he somebody so everybody started to hate him, but of course he never went to jail because his family was pretty powerful in my small town."

"Wow, that's horrible, for me it was probably this one girl who's name was Priscilla, strange name to begin with, hold on, let me just pull out my comically large scroll here," He acts out holding a scroll and reading it "Basically she had over 50 ex lovers at the age of 14, one of them was 21, she lied about a lot, if she was Pinnochio her nose would reach Saturn and back, she had sex with her cousin at the age of 12, she stole from her aunt and once brought beer on the bus on a field trip, she smoked, and a lot more that I can't remember off the top of my head."

She is left in shock. "I don't even know what to say."

"I wouldn't either, I know all this because I used to be friends with her."

They go on discussions for several hours (I'm too lazy to write all of them) but during which they learn eachother's names and much more about their lives.

Liam notices all his friends by the door "I'm sorry, I probably have to go, but I loved talking to you, could I possibly get your number?"

"Sure, I also liked talking to you." She gives him her number. "Friends?"

"Sure." He responds before heading out the door with his friends and registering the number in his phone before they all pile in the car and he drives off, his friends teasing him for talking to her the whole time.

Meanwhile, Emily awaits a text from him, when she gets home she's still waiting, but she doesn't know thay Liam lives farther away and is still driving home.
