Lena
Chapter 1
by alphakennyone
The following story is a novel-type story. Don't mind the long threads. Consider that there is a Setting/Plot/Characters thread attached for reference.
"ELLEN! Don't be late!" my mother shouts up the stairs, her footsteps easily heard through the wooden flooring. The reason she is shouting is because I am leaving home for college. Both my mother and my older sister resent my going to Neo-Francisco for schooling where I can stay here in Neo-Amsterdam for college.
Their resentments aren't enough to get me to stay. I guess they given up somehow, because they are itching to get me out of the house. They wonder why I'm still here and not at the Tram Station. The reason is because of my admiration for my father. Even though loud shouts ring through all the corners of the house and through my door, I am still on my bed holding to the very thing I have left of my father. Hotaru Kyobashi, a detective assigned in Neo-Amsterdam, loved me the most out of the four children he had. Call me "Daddy's Girl" all you want, I am the most concerned for my father's well-being.
He was reassigned to Neo-Francisco for a big case and he promised me that he would come back when the case was over. It's been three years and I haven't heard from him since. That is why my bags are packed, ready to go to Neo-Francisco for college. I really want to find out where my father went when he left for Neo-Francisco.
"ELLEN!" I hear my name as my door flies open.
Who has opened my door?
Follow Ellen as she goes in search for her father...
