Introduction.

Knuckles the Echidna and Rouge the Bat.
Most of the time when they see each other, their ideologies inevitably collide and they engage on heated discussions. But every time they part ways, deep down... They miss each other.
Sure, they may be like Day and Night, but with every flaw they find on each other, comes a strange beauty that compensates for said flaw by tenfold, fanning a passionate fire within them that still grows every day, making it almost improvable for them to think about anything else, but the Guardian and the Thief.

Knuckles says he hates when Rouge teases and plays with his feelings, but in reality, that giggling voice of hers males him feel warm tinglings down his spine. Rouge thinks that Kncukes' naivity makes him annoying, but actually, she think that's linda cute.

The bat thinks of this red 'knucklehead' as a borning Goody two shoes that only stays on a boring island alone, but at The same time, she's intrigued by all the mysteries of this sacred place, and the handsome boy that keeps it safe. The echidna doesn't likes that she wants to steal his more cherished treasure, but he knows that despite their rivalrly, she's also a good ally, a beautiful girl, and she would never betray the ones she loves.

Once again, they're separeted from one another, and maybe the next day it will remain the same. Or perhaps...
