The alarm clock was ruthless. As it does every morning, it snapped me out of my slumber, not giving me a moment to sink back into sleep. I opened my eyes and stretching my hand towards the nightstand I silenced the unbearable sound.

I got out of bed and went straight to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and assessed my condition. My red hair remained in disarray, my delicately freckled face accentuated my beauty type.
