Kate's Vacation

Kate had graduated out of college five years ago. After working hard at a large tech company, she was looking forward to her well deserved vacation. She had decided to take a break from corporate life and backpack around Europe, exploring the various beaches, mountains, grasslands and other touristy locations.

Her first destination was France. After getting off the plane, it took her about 3 hours to reach a small beach-side town where she would be spending the next couple of days. Based on her research, it was well known for its beautiful and serene beaches. It was a beautiful town with a main street and a town square with the police station and the town hall as the centerpiece. There were a lot of tiny shops, and she planned on shopping in each one of them.
