Gareth and Valerie were a literal power couple. They had started together as trainees who then rose through the ranks together. Their relationship was built upon the two of them encouraging and spurring each other onwards. After becoming Holy Knights, the two married, something some considered sacrilege... not that anyone was strong enough or stupid enough to try to stop. Holy Knights were not allowed to take a spouse for fear that the sexual temptations could get in the way of their mission.

Of course, this was a foolish belief and the two of them proved that time and time again. Therefore, when the time came for them to save the kingdom and beyond, they were the natural choices.

Years ago, the two of them had defeated the Demon King together and now they were being tasked with defeating his daughter. She had apparently been hiding during the previous war and had come out of hiding to start a new one.

The pair was not too thrilled about the possibility of a new war, so they set out to take her down and prevent it. However, the queen was not dumb; she knew the two of them would be coming to take her down, so she was prepared.

It took a lot of magic, but she managed to cast a spell of lust on one of them. The more they engaged in lustful and lewd activities with anyone, the stronger the curse became and the more corrupt they would be. She would turn them into her king or queen and they would rule alongside her. The question was: who did she curse?
