Jessica Jones: Secret Origin

Jessica Jones is grinning from ear to ear as she flies above the streets of Manhattan. Her life sucks, something she says and thinks quite often. Her parents died in a car crash, at school everyone makes fun of her, and just in general she is a social outcast. But up here, in the skies of New York with the wind in her face, everything is worth it.

She’s only had her powers for a few months. The eighteen year old high school senior woke up from her coma and suddenly she could fly and lift objects several times her body weight. So, she did what anyone would do in that situation: she became a superhero! She stitched herself a white costume with blue trim and a purple diamond shaped emblem on her belt and now goes by the name Jewel.

As Jewel she has stopped mainly petty crimes such as bank robberies, mugging, things like that, but she is eager to prove herself and face off against a real and proper supervillain.

The sound of people screaming pulls Jewel out of her daze, she was lost in thought, and changes her flight pattern to fly toward the scream. . .
