Zebediah Kilgrave: “The Purple Man”

The violet haired heroine lands on the concrete sidewalk outside of an italian restaurant. Patrons are pouring out of the door in mass, all sharing the same look of shock and fear.

Using a little bit of her super strength to do so, Jewel pushes herself through the crowd and enters the italian restaurant. Inside a great deal of the tables are overturned, mostly from the panic, and across the room a man is on top of another stabbing him repeatedly with a fork.

“Hey, you! St—“

“Excuse me, miss?”

Jessica looks over and sees a man dressed in a purple suit and tie...with matching purple skin sitting down at one of the only tables that are not overturned. He is eating as he speaks, “sit down” he tells her, and Jessica finds herself grabbing a chair and pulling it up to the table and sitting down across from him. Though she does not say a word, her eyes look on at the purple man with wide eyes filled with fear because she herself did not do that, yet she did it when he said to.

“What’s your name?” he asks her, looking at her in the eyes as he puts a meatball into his mouth with his fork. After he chews and swallows it, he quickly adds before she can speak “and not your silly made up name...your REAL name.”

“Jessica” she answers, no emotion behind her voice, though in her eyes her fear grows as she suddenly realizes that she is powerless in this moment, unable to not do exactly what he tells her.

“You are very attractive, Jessica” he says to her, his eyes trailing down her body before quickly looking up into her eyes, “take off your clothes.”

Pushing her chair out, Jessica stands up, internally screaming and trying to fight his command he suddenly has over her...but it is no use.

Jessica grabs the top of her suit and begins to pull it down quickly, but before anything more than cleavage is visible the purple man interrupts her, “nuh uh uh, slowly.”
