Faelith's Keep

The town of Thornhold sat on the border of Lysoria, a town seemingly forgotten by those who ruled over it. Hardship had hit the town, and its scars were visible in every cracked stone and weather-beaten roof. Once a vital trading post and defense against raids from the wildlands, Thornhold had become a shadow of its former self. The fields that surrounded it were barren, crops struggling to survive against the harsh soil and unpredictable weather. Bandit attacks had become frequent, while the town’s guard, underpaid and undermanned, struggled to maintain even the semblance of order.

Inside the town, the people were divided. The local merchants hoarded what little wealth remained, raising prices on basic goods and forcing the poor to scrape by on nearly nothing. Bitter resentment brewed between the town’s guilds, each blaming the other for the town's slow decline leading to the start of a hidden war between secretive factions. Beyond, the walls, monsters and beastmen skulked in the shadows of the wilderness, attacking any unlucky enough to trespass into their lands.

And so, the Goldleaf Order, a group of skilled experts from the capital city of Lysoria, sent one of their most trusted knights: Faelith to their town to bring back order.

Faelith is a knight of the Goldleaf Order but she also had another job with the Order. Something that she specialized in. What was that job? Each selection will change your stats which will lead into different choice options later on.
