Enchanting Valley

Life has truely become a bore. After College you took a entry level position for a soulless corporation. Everyday you work for endless overtime sacrificing all chances of a social life for very little money and no respect. After a few years and a meaningless promotion beat any optimism or positivity out of you.

Just as you were accepting your life as bottom rung soulless pencil pusher you got tragic news. Your grandfather had passed away.

You didnt have a lot of memeories of the man since you haven't seen him since you were six. Back then you enjoyed spending time with him and listening to his stories and jokes. Which infuriated your parents to no end since most stories and jokes were on the sexual side.

But your time with him ended after he left town. He said he was leaving to "find paradise". He never explained what he meant about that but promised he'd explain it to you when you needed to know.

Flash foreward to now, he's lawyer is explaining your grandfather left everything to you. A nice amount of cash and more importantly his farm and land in a small town in the middle of nowhere called Enchanting Valley.

At first you thought you'd simply refuse the land and farm and sell it. But before you could give your final answer the lawyer handed you a letter from your grandfather. Apparently he wrote it as in case you didn't seem interested in the inheritance. With intense curiosity you opened the letter.

To my dear Grandson,

If your reading this then i finally kicked the bucket. Im sorry I didnt visit you over the years but i kept up with your progress. You have grown up to become a fine young man. I'm proud of you.

But i also saw you are working in a soul crushing company with no future. I feel into that trap and wasted so many years of my years in a place like that. I dont want that for you. In Enchanting Valley i found my paradise.

And now i leave my spot in paradise to you.
