Edward’s Embarrassment

So, you want to hear that story, do you? My most embarrassing day ever? All right, then....

It was during my last year at school. I had turned 18, in fact everyone in my class had. It started as a typical day. As i approached the building I checked my appearance in the glass door. My brown hair was short, brushed into a side parting. I was wearing my uniform- grey trousers, white shirt, dark red tie, smart black shoes. It was Summer, nearly the end of the academic year, so no need for a jacket.

As I walked in, I saw Naomi, my best friend. She's half-indian, her skin dark and flawless, her hair thick and black and tied into two plaits as usual. I don't think she saw me come in, because she didn't react. The thing about Naomi is, she's a bit clumsy and a bit ditsy. Sometimes forgets to check things. And today was no different, as she turned to approach her locker I, and the rest of the students in the corridor, could see her grey skirt bunched up and tucked into the waistband of her bright white panties.

I should go and tell her, I thought, she'll be so humiliated. But then I saw Camilla.

I have had a crush on Camilla for years. She's easily the most attractive girl in school, with her short white-blonde hair and her big brown eyes. And her figure- she has the whole package, perfect breasts and a rear end that I could, and probably have, stared at for hours.

I had been waiting for a chance to talk to Camilla, to take a shot and see if she'll consider going to the Summer Ball with me. As far as I know she doesn't have a boyfriend, although I know there's guys planning to change that. I wanted to get in first, even if she says no, just to take a chance. She'd always been surrounded by her friends, and if she was going to shoot me down I did not want an audience. But this time she was alone, just hanging out by her own locker, checking her make-up.

So I had to decide- go to my best friend and save her from embarrassment, or approach my crush and take a chance?
