Earthly Possessions

Meet Ethan, a 20-year old man with an average build, and around 5'10" in height. He has short, sandy brown hair that he keeps styled and dark brown, almond-shaped eyes. He's never really considered his looks as anything particularly remarkable. But that suits Ethan. If anything, he'd prefer to not have the attention.

Ethan is a bit shy and reserved, and can be a bit awkward around people he doesn't know well. He tends to keep to himself, but tries to be friendly and approachable when someone makes an effort to talk to him. Ethan is not very outgoing, and mostly just keeps a small group of close friends. But he can feel a bit lonely when he's not with him. Because of his shyness, Ethan hasn't had much luck in the dating department. He's had a couple of girlfriends over the years, but none of them have been anything serious.

But Ethan has a special gift, an ability he discovered when he was a teenager. Ethan has the power to mentally inhabit the body and mind of any person he chooses. With this unique ability, he can get anything he wants just by becoming anyone he wants to be. It's made him a skilled manipulator as he can get anyone to do whatever he wants by taking over their minds and bodies and implanting thoughts and suggestions. Because he can occupy his target's mind, he can gain access to their knowledge and memories, making it easier for him to take over their lives without anyone suspecting a thing.

Ethan's powers have cut into his ability to make lasting connections as Ethan as he spends more time getting to know people as someone else instead of as himself. But for the most part Ethan doesn't care. He finds possessing others and living their life for a time to be more rewarding than living his own. Whenever he inhabits a host he feels a rush of adrenaline and endorphins.

Ethan during his time of exploration, Ethan has chosen to possess many different individuals. He's been teachers, other students, parents, and even children. Most of the time he justifies it to himself as a way to explore different viewpoints and perspectives. But he's also not afraid to possess people for selfish gains.

As he typically does when he's not busy with class or homework, Ethan was walking around downtown, looking to see if there was anyone that caught his eye to possess. Various people of interest catch his eye. He notices a young couple, an 18 year old girl and her 19 year old boyfriend, walking hand in hand. The girl is wearing leggings and a tight tank top, while her boyfriend is wearing jeans and a t-shirt.

He also notices an older man, maybe in his mid 40s, wearing a suit and talking on a cell phone as he climbs into a town car. As he continues to watch people going by, a few others get his attention.

Finally, Ethan makes a decision, puts his own body on autopilot to return home, and moves his consciousness to his next target.
