Dystopia

Hundreds of years in the future, humanity is very different to how it is today. Todays struggles have gotten worse, forcing society to advance in strange, and often maladaptive ways. Population booms following wars and advancements in food technology have led to incredibly dense, sprawling cities with crime rates which are out of control. Medical services struggle to keep up as legal and illegal body modification technology expands faster than regulation bodies can keep up, creating a strange and dangerous body augmentation market. Corporations have exponentially increased their power and control over the populations of cities, and in some cases countries and continents. In some cases rivalling the power of governments.

These are the stories of people who live in this world. Be warned, these stories will not always be pleasant and given the nature of a world like this, there will be ongoing themes of dubious or present in the majority of stories. Mind control, hacking, and humiliation will be recurring themes.
