Dust

Let me tell you of a time, not so long ago from now actually but this isn’t of a time that history will teach you nor would you read about it in their books. No, this is a time of swordfights and dragons, of dark magic and fairies, Orcs, Giants and Heroes of love and betrayal, of knights, tricksters and Lords oh and of course dust.

But I’m getting ahead of myself aren’t I? I suppose I better tell you who I am and what I do.

I would be surprised to know if you hadn’t already guessed that I’m the narrator. I’m a storyteller and my name is Doadventures. I'm of this world now and I have been waiting a very long time to tell you what happened one summers eve and what consequently followed our young adventures that dared to look over the wall, dared to follow their dreams and dared to test their luck.

I shall first tell you of the many beings you will meet here and what they do, so that when you meet them, you can’t blame me for any actions that you didn’t envisage happening to you.

So let me think, we have the Kiters, Belldrops, then there’s the Halfens oh and Jellmits couldn’t forget them. Then you have Macs and Masters oh and Hethereens and Greyfriers. Of course you’ll find the usual suspects that you find in any little wholesome town, farmers, bakers, barkeepers and innkeepers, bankers, knights and shopkeepers but I think that’s all you’ll need to worry about just now, unless you wish to venture outside of the protective walls, outside in the wilderness your fate is your own, out there you’ll find all manners of beast but most notably, there are Orcs, Dragons, Giants, Scuttlers and wolf’s as big as a horse.

Heroes - Male and female heroes roam the wilderness for battles, they go out looking for fights. The heroes round up the troops, the heroes win the fame of the townsfolk and support their kings, Queens and county men.

Kiters – Fishermen pirates in the sky. The sky’s over the vast empty planes are littered with ships fishing for lightening.

Belldrops – fairies, mischievous and intrigued by literally everything and the only pure, incorruptible being in this world.

Halfens – Pawn masters that also deal in alchemy they are shrew and greedy, lack many manners

Jellmits – Tricksters, masters of misdirection and thieves.

Macs – Dark art magicians, witches and wizards, immortal but age.

Masters – Serve the nine Gods, virgin sacrifices to their withered bodies will grant the girls eternal spirituality and internal healing.

Hethereens – Such is the religion and followed doctrine of the Masters, Hethereens believe in only six Gods that control the seasons of the year and day to night.

Greyfriers – For the past century there has been an uprising of the Greyfriers, not much is known about them, they wear only dark green hooded robes. They only keep their own company but lately they have been pushing their directive and their teachings.
