DC20 Damsels

This will be a set of short stories where we meet a hero or antihero or villain and learn a bit about them, their goal,s and the situation they are in. I will then roll a d20 for them. On a natural 20, they will perfectly succeed in their challenging situation and escape unscathed. But the worse their roll below 20, the 'worse' the outcome for them, in fun and sexy (and often embarrassing) ways. Very low rolls will have things go very badly for the character, and likely result in a Bad End.

In each story, you (and I) don't know whether the protagonist will succeed or fail until after we've learned who they are and what situation they're in. The aim of this exercise is to create genuine uncertainty and unpredictability with regards to these characters' fates.

Characters who don't fail horribly first time round may get a second part of their story written, or perhaps even more, each with its own die roll, until they reach a Good or Bad End.
