Chyoa's adventurer

In the world of Exciom the different clans live in harmony. Dwarves, elves, beastfolk, humands and the like live side by side in both metropolitan towns or separated on the great kingdoms of each race.

The kingdoms are well connected through roads and trade lines, however much of the world is in still need of being discovered. The great wilds stand imposingly at the edge of the known world. Many fearless adventurers go into the wilds to bring in the heads of beasts never seen before, treasures from civilizations that once survived on the unknown land or even just stories of their travels.

Adventure not only lies beyond the borders of the known world though. Ruins lay scattered around the world that belong to the ancients, a mysterious race that lived long before the age of elves. No one really knows who they were or what they did, but the remains of their cities hold magical artifacts unlike anything seen before.

If exploration isn't your preference the great kingdoms are always need of fearless monster hunters. Terrifying beasts seem to suddenly appear on every small corner that isn't being guarded and start their reign of terror on the world. Brave warriors that defeat these monsters are regarded as heroes by many.

But we’re getting ahead of ourselves.

Our story does take place in Exciom, but before we can get started we need to know who our adventurer is.

First of all are they:

A boy?

A girl?

A futa?

or

A femboy?

Greetings everyone.

This story is based on the principle of advancing as people vote on what they want happening. Inspired by works like “Batgirl Against Everyone” and play tested on a thread of “The Fall of a Knight” I wish to create a story where the plot that we follow is decided by the readers themselves.

At the end of every chapter I will pose a question and multiple possible answers which you can vote on by adding a comment with your response. By the time I start writing the next chapter I will look at the votes and base the story on the most popular idea (any ties are decided by rolling dice. wouldn't a coinflip work better? yes, but I like dice)

A chapter will be published every Tuesday and Saturday giving ample time for people to vote on what they want to see happen. During character creation, however, I will be tolling the votes every day to make sure we can start the story as soon as possible.

I'll continue until the story reaches a natural conclusion at which point I’ll probably start a new thread asking people to vote on the last chapter of the first one what the gender of our new adventurer will be.

If anyone wants to start their own thread feel free to do so, just be sure to follow similar voting rules as to make it coherent with the other threads.
