Christmas in the wizarding world

It has been 13 years since the dark lord perished and the lives of the magical trio have only started to get better with every passing year.

Harry and Ginny were married for almost 7 years, while Ron and Hermione married 5 years ago. It took Ron a bit of time to get the hints Hermione tried to sent him without asking him directly to put a ring on her finger. Harry and Ginny were working for the ministry as aurors while Hermione was the new minister of magic and was doing a perfect job, as expected. Ron on the other hand started to try out as an auror, but didn't make the cut. He felt a bit devasted and need almost a year to get back on track. He started to help his brother George to manage Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes which as now ready to open a third location, this time in New York.

It's christmas time and like every year the four would celebrate together with their children and one of the houses. This year, it was Hermiones and Rons time to host the festivities.

Hermione was in stress. Not only was she the minister of magic and busy all the time with her responsibilites, but on the side she was trying to get better a cooking without magic. And anyone who knows her, knows how well she would exceed all expectations. She could have given courses to some of the best chefs in the country. While she was preparing dinner Ron was going through the has, haning up some decoration while watching the kids play in their room.

Harry and Ginny would arrive soon and Hermione checked the dinner table for the seventh time to make sure everything is perfect. Some christmasmusic was playing in the background and for the first time in about 8 hours she could sit down for a minute, take a few deep breaths and relax.
